Team Brady takes it all again in E1 GP of Venice

Team Brady repeats victory in the second round of the UIM E1 World Championship, held in Venice, in presence of NFL icon Tom Brady, joining the jubilant celebrations alongside his winning pilots. The two back-to-back triumphs take the quarterback’s Team to the lead in the UIM E1 World Championship, following a weekend of electrifying racing on Venice's iconic waters.



Second place went to Team Brazil, while Team Westbrook Racing of Hollywood star Will Smith secured third place in their racing debut.


Tom Brady, present on-site during the entire race weekend, applauded his team's effort, especially praising pilots Sam Coleman and Emma Kimiläinen, who described the race as intense and challenging to maintain the performance. Coleman echoed the sentiment, highlighting the competitiveness and emotional rollercoaster of the weekend.


This pioneering electric boat racing championship, promoting speeds exceeding 50 knots, will continue racing in iconic coastal cities worldwide, fostering sustainability in marine transport.


E1 CEO Rodi Basso praised the fiercely competitive racing in front of Venice's unique scenic backdrop for showcasing electric mobility on water as solution for a sustainable future.


E1's mission aims to accelerate marine transport electrification, supporting host cities such as Venice in their transition towards a greener future.


The next Round of the UIM E1 World Championship will be held in Puerto Banus, Marbella on 1-2 June.
