UIM F125, F250, and F500 Championships Heat Up in Znin, Poland
The third round of the UIM F125, F250, and F500 Championships in Znin, Poland, saw fierce competition and stunning victories. In the F125 class, Mattia Calzolari (ITA) secured his third consecutive win, clinching the UIM World Championship title. Viktor Lyubenov (BUL) and Tobias Wahlsten (SWE) took second and third place, respectively. The battle for second and third place in the overall standings remains tight, with Wiktor Synoracky (POL) finishing fourth in Znin and accumulating 45 points, closely followed by Viktor Lyubenov (BUL) with 43 points.
The F250 class also showcased Italian dominance, with Massimiliano Cremona (ITA) winning for the third time in a row and capturing the UIM World Championship title. Wayne Turner (GBR) secured fourth place in Znin, maintaining his second position in the overall standings with 43 points. Ingo Hepner (GER) delivered an impressive performance, finishing second in Znin and leaping to third place in the overall standings.
In the F500 class, one race remains before the season's end to determine the UIM World Champion, scheduled to take place in Halberndorf, Germany, in early October. Marcin Zielinski (POL) continued his winning streak by taking the top spot on the podium in Znin. Robert Hencz (SVK) claimed second place in both Znin and the overall standings. Attila Havas (HUN) moved ahead of Marian Jung (SVK) in the overall standings after finishing fourth in Znin, amassing 37 points.
Exciting UIM Offshore Class 3A and 3J Races in Larvik, Norway
The UIM Offshore Class 3A and 3J races in Larvik, Norway, were equally thrilling. Former 2023 UIM World Champion in Class 3J Offshore, Rikard Ingvarsson, and his teammate Adam Jansson delivered a majestic performance, clinching the first place and being crowned the 2024 UIM World Champions in Offshore Class 3A. They were followed by Anton Modin (FIN) and Jakob Bälter (SWE) in second place, with Adrian Aasvik and Mats Levy Omholt from Norway taking third.
In the Offshore 3J class, Pal Uppstad and Sigur Uppstad (NOR) emerged victorious, winning the UIM World Championship title. They were followed by Halvor Hirschel-Haag and Kasper Liltved (NOR) in second place, and Hans Victor Iversen and Sivert Marcussen (NOR) in third.
