UIM E1 World Championship action on stage in Monaco

After the inaugural race in Jeddah (KSA), Venice (ITA) and Marbella (ESP), the E1 fleet visited the Principality of Monaco for the 4th Round of the UIM E1 World Championship. Under the eyes of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, Honorary President of the UIM, and Raffaele Chiulli, President of the International Powerboat Federation, the 9 female and 9 male pilots produced spectacular racing scenes in front of the Port of Monaco.   

 

 

 

NFL legend Tom Brady was present on site to witness the victory of his Team, which regained the top spot in the UIM E1 World Championship standings thanks to outstanding performances of pilots Sam Coleman and Emma Kimiläinen, who were awarded the Trophy by H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco.

 

Team Drogba, with owner Didier Drogba also in attendance, secured second place, while Team Rafa, owned by Rafael Nadal, finished third after having started in pole position. The Finals featured fierce competition among five teams: Team Brady, Team Rafa, Team Blue Rising, Team Drogba, and Westbrook Racing.

 

 

 

The UIM E1 World Championship's debut in Monaco, the International Powerboat Federation’s home town, offered sparkles of the future of racing on water at the prestigious Yacht Club de Monaco, drawing celebrities from sports and entertainment. Rodi Basso, CEO and co-founder of E1, hailed the event as a showcase for electric racing and a platform to advance clean marine technologies.

 

Additionally, Westbrook Racing, owned by Will Smith, announced a partnership with Run Blue, a global initiative focused on addressing the water crisis, emphasizing their commitment to sustainability and environmental awareness.
