UIM Formula 2 World Championship
An exceptional event unfolded this past weekend at the San Nazzaro Nautical Club (ASD) in Italy, where the UIM Formula 2 World Championship and F250 European Championship were hosted. Rashed Al Qemzi (UAE) once again claimed the top step of the podium, with his teammate Mansoor Al Mansoori (UAE) securing second place and Mathilda Wiberg (SWE) finishing in third.
The competition at the top of the rankings is intensifying. Rashed Al Qemzi holds a narrow lead with just 9 points separating him from Mathilda Wiberg, while Edgaras Riabko (LTU) is a mere 1 point behind Wiberg in third place. The championship title remains undecided and will be contested in the final two rounds of the season, which are set to take place on:
- 13 September in Peso da Régua, Portugal
- 20 September in Vila Velha de Rodão, Portugal
UIM F250 European Championship
In conjunction with the Formula 2 World Championship, the UIM F250 European Championship also took place. After fierce competition, Nikola Todorov (BUL) emerged as the champion, demonstrating outstanding performance by winning 3 out of 4 races. Mattia Calzolari (ITA) and Ingo Hepner (GER) earned the silver and bronze medals, respectively.
