SPECTACULAR CONCLUSION TO 2024 AQUABIKE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP

More than 100 riders from 18 nations battled out last weekend on the demanding race course of Mira, for the third and last Round of this year’s UIM-ABP European Aquabike Continental Championship.

 

Twelve European titles were up for grabs, and the strong delegation of French riders delivered commanding performances in the seaside town of central Portugal, in front of the many spectators attending the event.

 

 

 

Jérémy Perez, Valentin Dardillat and Pierre-François Savelli all won European Championship in the Runabout GP1, Ski Division GP1 and Runabout GP2 classes. In the Runabout GP4 Ladies category, Cyrielle Bramm added a second UIM gold medal to her collection after her World title success of earlier this year in Olbia, Italy.

 

 

 

 

Another rider to shine in Mira was Yoni Hamelin: With several motos wins in Portugal and earlier this season, the Belgian ends his season with an impressive double in the Ski Division GP3 and GP4 classes.

 

 

 

Benedicte Drange (Norway),  Roberto Mariani (Italy), Petr Dryjak (Czechia), Grantas Gurksnys (Lithuania), Daan Hoeke (France) and Mio Petrovic (Montenegro) all took European titles in their respective Ski Ladies GP1, Freestyle, Runabout GP4, Runabout GP4 Junior, Ski Division GP2 and Ski Junior GP3.3 classes.
