The 2024 UIM XCAT World Championship has officially concluded with two most exciting final races held in Dubai which saw the emergence of the Italian brothers Rosario and Giuseppe Schiano di Cola from HPI Fujairah Racing Team as first time World Champions of this UIM Offshore flagship category. The new Champions claimed first place in Race 1 and finished fifth in Race 2. These results, combined with their consistent efforts throughout the season, enabled them to clinch the title with a narrow margin of six points ahead of the second-placed Swecat Racing Team. The Swecat duo, composed of Sweden’s Sebastian Groth and Erik Sundblad Johansen, put up a strong fight, finishing fifth in Race 1 and second in Race 2, earning them the runner-up position in the overall standings.

The Dubai races delivered plenty of excitement and notable performances. Team GB, represented by Scott Williams and Martin Campbell from the United Kingdom, showcased exceptional skills, finishing second in Race 1 and claiming victory in Race 2. Despite their strong showing in Dubai, their overall points tally left them in fourth place in the final championship ranking.
Victory Team from Dubai had demonstrated remarkable consistency throughout the season, which allowed drivers Salem Al Adidi and Eisa Al Ali (UAE) to secure third place in the overall ranking, earning them the bronze medal and reinforcing their reputation as one of the most reliable teams in the competition.

The championship season concluded with a Gala Dinner in Dubai, where the achievements of the top three teams were celebrated. UIM President Raffaele Chiulli was onsite for the XCAT finale and personally congratulated the 2024 UIM XCAT World Champions during the evening’s festivities. “I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the UAEMSF (UAE Marine Sport Federation) and DIMC (Dubai International Marine Club) for hosting a spectacular conclusion to this year’s championship. Their commitment to excellence and high-quality organization allowed to showcase the very best of the XCAT World Championship,” said President Chiulli.
