Mons, Belgium– 24th August 2025. More race boats than a picture can contain.

This was the state of affairs last weekend in
Belgium for the Round 1 of the 2025 Circuit F4 World
Championship, where twenty-nine drivers showed up to battle for the UIM world
title.

Just like in the previous Endurance event,
drivers of the ever-growing F4 class competed over two races which were held on
Saturday and Sunday, and offered an incredible show to the hundreds of
spectators gathered along the shores of Mons’ Grand Large Lake.

With a race course homologated for eighteen
boats on the water at the same time, qualifications sessions preceding the
races were more crucial than ever, and the winners of the Q3 sessions featuring
the six fastest drivers would get the opportunity to start the races in pole
position.

Saturday’s twenty-one lap Race was won by
Black Pharaoh Racing Team driver William Leithe Martinsen from Norway, while
Latvian Nils Slakteris from the Riga Powerboat Team took the chequered flag on
the second Race.

The Championship remains wide open ahead of
the second and final round which will take place in Viverone, Italy, on
September 12-14, where a new F4 World Champion will be crowned.
