UIM Secretary General, Thomas Kurth, and Raimondo Di San Germano, CEO of H2O Racing, met at the UIM Headquarters in Monaco to finalize the discussions between the International Powerboat Federation and the historic Promoter of the UIM Aquabike World and Continental Championships on the renewal of the promotion agreement and its impact on the long-term development of the Aquabike discipline under the governance of the UIM.
The discussions covered the future strategic orientation of the Aquabike discipline at international level, the initiatives to stimulate its growth, and the continued collaboration between the UIM and its long-standing promoter partner. Particular attention was given to strengthening the sport’s global presence, raising and consolidating event standards, as well as ensuring continuity for Aquabike Riders, organisers, and national federations.
The meeting concluded with the execution of the renewed promotional agreement between the UIM and Aquabike Promotion Ltd. for both the UIM Aquabike World and Continental Championships for a further ten-year period, reaffirming the mutual trust and shared vision of the Federation and its historic Promoter partner.
The new agreement lays a solid foundation for the UIM’s plans to further develop the Aquabike Sport over the years to come, together with the Member Federations and through a growing number of international competitions on all Continents.
