Czech competitors dominate the podiums across almost every category, with Championship now heading to Stockholm
The UIM MotoSurf World Championship rolled into Prague for its latest round, and it was home advantage that stood out most, with Czech riders topping the podium in five of the seven categories on offer.
Elite Men
Matyáš Novotný led a Czech clean sweep of the Elite Men's podium, taking the win ahead of compatriots Lukáš Záhorský in second and Alex Lukscheider in third. A strong result for the host nation in the discipline's flagship category.
Elite Women
Slovakia's Michaela Sara Zuborova took the top spot in Elite Women, finishing ahead of two Czech riders: Eliška Matoušková in second and Barbora Kolárová in third.
Masters Men
The Masters Men category went to South Korea's Kim Down, who held off David Pozdník of the Czech Republic in second place. Poland's Arkadiusz Janora completed the podium in third.
Masters Women
South Korea claimed another win in Masters Women, with Eunjin Lee taking first place. Aneta Šacherová brought a Czech rider onto the podium in second, with Japan's Miki Tory rounding out the top three.
Stock Men
It was an all-Czech podium in Stock Men, with Lukáš Kozon taking the win ahead of Adam Janošek in second and Adam Kolár in third.
Junior Boy
Stanislav Kohout added to the home nation's tally with victory in Junior Boy, finishing ahead of Austria's Leo Lichal-Kratochvil in second. Maxmilián Hruška completed another Czech one-two-three, placing third.
Junior Girls
The Czech Republic swept the Junior Girls podium in its entirety, with Ellen Burdová taking the win, followed by Nela Pozdníková in second and Bibiana Bubníková in third.
With Prague delivering strong results across the board for the host nation, attention now turns to the next round of the season. The UIM MotoSurf World Championship continues in Stockholm, Sweden, from August 14-16, 2026.
