Sudanese Powerboat Racing & Formula 4 Federation earns UIM Council support for UIM Corresponding Membership
Following the initiative of Khartoum based Formula 4 Team “Black Pharaoh” to establish a Sudanese Powerboat Federation, this achievement has earned the respect and support of the UIM Council who awarded the UIM Corresponding Membership status to the newly created Federation, representing the Sudanese Powerboating Movement within the UIM as of the upcoming 99th UIM General Assembly in Portugal, once ratified by the UIM Members.
In parallel with the conclusion of the administrative achievement at UIM Council level, the Black Pharao Team has been raising its sporting reputation out on the water across both international and regional circuits. Flying the flag for Sudan, Team Black Pharaoh has built a competitive presence in Formula 4 (F4) powerboating backed by a dedicated multi-national driver lineup composed of Ibrahim Izzeldin Saleh (Sudan), Sultan Alfalahi (UAE), Ismat Moani (Sudan) and Adam Wrenkler (Sweden).
On the racing calendar, the team has pushed hard over the 2025 and 2026 seasons. In regional competition, Team Black Pharaoh campaigned through the UAE F4 Powerboat Championship Series between December 2025 and March 2026. On the international stage, the Team stepped up to the UIM F4 World Championship, taking to the water at major European venues—including the Klaipeda Grand Prix in Lithuania on June 6 and Viverone Grand Prix on August 9, 2026.
The 2026 UIM F4 European Championship title won by the Sudanese Black Pharao Team driver Adam Wrenkler in Viverone represents a significant sporting milestone in the history of the powerboating pioneers on the African Continent, under the guidance of Team President Abdulla Ahmed, Team Manager Ahmed Al Tahir and General Manager Olegs Polakovs.

Once the 99th UIM General Assembly has formally ratified the UIM Membership of the Sudanese Powerboat Federation, Team Black Pharaoh will lock in its permanent status within the UIM, opening new pathways for North African and Middle Eastern drivers on the world stage.
