When it
comes to paving the way for the UIM Youth Development Program, the Fujairah
International Marine Club is the uncontested Leader among UIM’s member
Organizations:
After
having opened the first UIM Youth Training Academy and set the standards for
other international Marine Centres to follow suit, the FIMC is hosting these
days the second UIM
Instructor
& Trainer Course this year for participants from UIM Member Federations
from all over the world who are seeking to obtain the certification to
establish the UIM Youth
Development
Program in their country.
UIM
President Raffaele Chiulli inaugurated the Course with words of thanks and
appreciation for the Crown Prince of Fujairah, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad
Al Sharqi, firm
supporter
of these activities, and he congratulated FIMC Director Ahmed Alblooshi and
Head UIM Instructor Denis Dillon for their untiring efforts to plant the seed
of the UIM
Youth
Development Program in ever more countries.
The Course
participants will be following an intensive one week’s program on and off the
water , with the purpose to be awarded UIM Instructor-Trainer certification,
which will
entitle them to train UIM YDP instructors back home, to guide the new
generation on their way to joining the powerboating community.
