UIM Calendar News #2 - June 2021

 

AQUABIKE

 

  • CZECH REPUBLIC, MULTI-CLASSES INTERNATIONAL ORDINARY EVENT ADDED TO THE CALENDAR 

The city of Jedovnice, also host of Circuit and MotoSurf races, will welcome the pilots for an Aquabike International Ordinary event, from 20th to 22nd August.

 

  • ESTONIA, NEW AQUABIKE EVENT OF TALLINN

Conjointly with a Circuit International Event, the capital Tallinn will see the organisation of a multi-class Aquabike International Ordinary Event, on 26/27th June.

 

  • HUNGARY, HOST NATION FOR THE 2nd ROUND of the UIM SKI JUNIORS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

Nyíregyháza – Levelek, where will be held the 2nd Round of the Aquabike European Championship – Circuit, will also welcome the 2nd Round of the Ski Juniors World Championships, on the dates of 15/18th July.

 

CIRCUIT

 

  • ESTONIA, NEW I.O. CIRCUIT EVENT IN TALLINN

At the same time as the Aquabike International Event, Circuit drivers will be able to race in Tallinn at the multi-class Circuit International Ordinary Event, on 26th/27th June.

 

  • GREAT BRITAIN, OULTON BROAD EVENT

 

Due to the Covid-19 situation, the World Championships of GT15 and OSY400 initially foreseen on the week-end of 17/18th July have been cancelled by the Organizers.

  •  GERMANY, DECISION COMING ON WORLD F4 ROUND AND FR1000 ROUND POSTPONED (NEW DATE TO BE CONFIRMED)

The UIM has asked the German NA and the Local Organizer of the last round of the 2021 UIM F4 World Championship, scheduled for 17th-19th September in Rendsburg, to reconsider the possibility to maintain said race on the calendar. The UIM expects a final decision to be taken after further evaluation of the COVID situation and related restrictions in Germany.

The FR1000 European Championship Round of Berlin Grünau will not be held on 2/4th July. The new dates will possibly be in the first two weeks of October.

 

  • LATVIA, FR1000 ROUND CANCELLED

The FR1000 European Championship round of Aizkraukle, initially scheduled on 7/8th August, has been cancelled by the Organizers for Covid-19 reasons.

The Circuit International Ordinary event planned at the same date and venue remains in the calendar.

 

  • SPAIN, CONFIRMATION OF THE WORLD CUPS T850-HS850 MOVE TO THE END OF OCTOBER

Originally planned to be held in their classic venue of Navia – Asturias on the week-end of 7/8th August, the T850 and HS850 World Cups will be raced, in the new venue of Arcos de la Frontera.- Cádiz, on 30/31st October.

 

  • SWEDEN, CHANGE OF VENUE OF THE F4 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND AND HYDRO GP ROUND CANCELLED

Originally planned to be held in Stockholm, the F4 World Championship Round has been moved to the city of Smedjebacken. The date of 13/15th August remains unchanged.

For Covid-19 reasons, the 2nd round of the UIM Hydro GP World Championship (Classes F125/F250/F500), previously arranged in Mora for the dates of 23/25th July, is cancelled.
